How do I become an ARC Appointed Broker?

How do I obtain Agency Portal access?
Email support@alabamaretail.org or call us at (800) 239-5423 to request portal access. If you are not an existing contact for the agency, your request may be delayed to allow verification.

What can I do through the Agency Portal?
- Submit Applications
- View the Book of Business
- View and download policy forms, endorsements, Experience Modification Worksheets and billing statements
- View claims information
- View and download Commission Statements (requires role based security access)

How do I submit an application?
Applications can be emailed to underwriting@alabamaretail.org, faxed to (334) 263-0665 or submitted through the Agency Portal.

Can I bind a quote online?
ARC does not currently allow binding via the Agency Portal. Coverage may be bound by emailing underwriting@alabamaretail.org

What carrier provides Employers’ Liability coverage through ARC?
ARC’s Employers’ Liability coverage is provided by Safety National Casualty Corporation (NAIC# 15105).

Does ARC offer a Notice of Cancellation endorsement?
ARC does not currently offer a Notice of Cancellation endorsement. Cancellation Notice is provided per the provisions of the Alabama Retail Comp Participation Agreement.

Does ARC offer a Waiver of Subrogation endorsement?
ARC offers a specific and blanket Waiver of Subrogation endorsement where required by written contract. Contact underwriting@alabamaretail.org for additional information and cost.

Does ARC offer an Alternate Employer endorsement?
ARC offers an Alternate Employer endorsement. Contact underwriting@alabamaretail.org for additional information and cost.

What states does ARC offer coverage in?
Coverage is limited to the provisions of the Alabama Workers’ Compensation Act. All States coverage is not offered by ARC.

Does ARC offer Cross-Border coverage for other states?
ARC offers cross-border coverage through our partner AmTrust Financial for approved operations of participant companies.
